We offer horticultural and gardening opportunities at the community gardens we manage. We offer a space at Ford Lane Community Garden where you can learn about food growing, companion planting, crop rotation, seasonal and ecological gardening aka permaculture!
We also provide bespoke and accessible gardening courses that encourage you to look after nature and in turn, nature will look after you. With some simple, cost effective and low tech ways, you will wonder why you haven't been doing things this way all the time. We think and work with the local environment in mind and hope to pass this ethos on to our students in very hands on practical activities accessible for all ages and abilities.
Because we work ethically and support the local economy, we contract in our pool of trained up volunteers as staff specific to the area where the project is based.
Our materials, resources and plants are all sourced locally to reduce the transport costs and also support local individuals and businesses.
